Byaheng Norte

Game for a crazy, more than half a day travel? Better get yourself ready for an ass-burning journey.

Departing at 9pm from Sm MOA, and arrived at around 1pm the next day. Sounds good or exhausting? But it’s all worth the travel, promise! 🙄
That’ll sums up about 16hours to get to Sagada. That already includes stopovers and the unfortunate road mishap of some vehicles which makes the road not passable and forces us to take a detour and makes me leave my excitement for the Banaue Rice Terraces behind.

To make life easy, we availed a package tour from Astrokidd travel and tour months prior to our travel date. This has been my second tour from them. (First one was my Ilocos trip)

Sumaguing Cave

Get ready to get wet, down and dirty. (climb, crawl and roll)

Sunrise viewing at Kiltepan View Point

Sagada trip wouldn’t be complete without feasting your eyes to a spectacular view of the sea of clouds. This is really what I came for. Thank God for the good weather on this day.

The hanging coffins in Sagada Echo Valley

Well, you’ll just sweat a little as go down to have a closer look at these hanging coffins.

Pongas Falls

Unfortunately, Bomod-ok Falls was close to public at that time due to an on-going rituals, our guide took us to Pongas Falls. Again, you’ll have yourself do some heavy breathing reaching to Pongas Falls. It’ll took you an hour trek to get there depending on your pace. You really have to prepare yourself physically as you’ll be undergoing to a series of trekking.
