CDO-Bukidnon-Camiguin

Summer means more reasons to go for an adventure, hit the beach and take a dip. So I am sharing with you our trip to CDO, Bukidnon and Camiguin. Where to stay and breakdown of expenses are also included.

Day 1
Boarded via Cebu Pacific flight bound for Cagayan de Oro and landed Laguindingan airport around 12noon. The airport is about an hour drive to Cagayan de Oro City. Upon arrival, Vhires are available for Php199 per head to take you to the city. But we decided to take a metered taxi to drop us at our hotel since we can just split the amount by three and have the ride all by ourselves. We even asked the driver if we can take a side trip to Divine Mercy shrine since it’s just on the way. Luckily, kuya driver agreed. He was also the one who drove us all the way to Dahilayan adventure park.

For the ladies, there are skirts for you to wear at the entrance of the Divine Mercy Shrine. So di ko po talaga ootd yan! 😉

Upon arrival to the hotel, we just took a lunch at our forever love Jollibee then off to Dahilayan to experience an array of amazing adventure rides. We availed the zip challenge package for Php1000 each. This includes all ziplines, dropzone and the phyton roller zipride.

IMG_0362It actually rained when we get there and thought that won’t be able to experience their rides due to the weather condition. But luck is on our side and the rain stopped. It is advisable to get there in the morning because it usually rained during the afternoon.

Dropzone

Their dropzone was intense and really a must-try for an added thrill👍🏽.

Day 2
CDO— the city of golden friendship, is best known for its white water rafting. We booked with Great White Water rafting just one week prior to our travel date. Payment will be collected on the day of the course. The rate is Php1400 per head for a basic course(14 rapids) plus meals after. The course lasted about 3 hours. In the middle of the course, they will offer you some pastel for snacks. If you opt to avail their CD for your pictures and videos during rafting just add Php150 for your group. Pick up and drop off point is at Mcdonalds Lim Ket Kai or at your hotel as long as it’s within the city.

After spending the whole morning on river rafting, we directly head to Camiguin in the afternoon. We took a 3-hour bus ride from Agora market terminal bound for Balingoan. We were lucky enough to board for the last trip to Benoni Port in Camiguin via MV Yuhum.

Day 3
The third day is all about Camiguin, known as the Island Born of Fire.

We spent the morning in White Island where we also had our breakfast. The name itself says it all. Getting there will only take less than 10 minutes by pump boat. Pump boat to and from White Island is Php450 good for 6 pax.

We stayed only for a few hours for breakfast, taking pictures and of course, swimming 🏊🏾.

The beautiful sandbar of White Island

We didn’t stay too long to avoid getting toasted by the heat of the sun since there’s no trees or cottages in the island. But you can rent an umbrella for Php150 to give a little shade.

After spending the morning in White Island, we directly went on a countryside tour of the island of Camiguin.
